About six people including 2 farmers, Amotekun Officer and OPC members have been killed in a clash between herdsmen and resident of Inayin a rural community via Iwere Ile in Iwajowa Local government area of Oyo state
A resident of iwere ile community told this Newspaper that the clash initialy started between the Ohoris( non Indigenes) farmers and the herdsmen over alled invasion of their farmland to feed their animals in a settlement called Inayin located around Apakolo
The herdsmen were said to have laid siege around farm settlements maiming and killing innocent farmers and those who confronted them. and when the security operative were going to the community they opened fire on them killing an Amotekun officer, OPC members and another member of the Community and some people were injured.
The source added that “Another farmer was shot on his bike while coming from his farm on Monday and some of those who went to find out what happened sustained injuries
The development sparked protest in Iwere Ile as the youths insisted on avenging the death of their people by fishing out the culprits and their sponsorers
