A member, House Of Representatives representing Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency, Hon. Abass A. Adigun who is popularly know as Agboworin commiserate with indigenes of Ibadanland, Oyo state and Nigeria over the demise of Olubadan Of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji (Aje Ogungunniso I).
Agboworin in a statement by his media aide Ibraheem Aremu said ObaSaliu Adetunji was a renowned businessman who lived an exemplary life.
“He was a role model to many – a God-fearing father who gave his all to the service of God, humanity and growth of Ibadanland, Oyo State and Nigeria.
Olubadan Oba Saliu was a man of great character who was not overwhelmed by affluence, but imparted positively to millions of lives around him. The news of his death is shocking and a great loss to his family, friends, business community, high chiefs, Ibadanland, Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.
On behalf of my family and the good people of Ibadan North-East/South-East federal constituency, I extend my condolences to Ibadanland and pray to God to give us and his family the fortitude to bear the loss. May God grant the deceased eternal rest, Amen.
