Killers of a former Commissioner of the National Population Commission (NPC), Mr. Zakari Umaru-Kigbu are demanding for N50m ransom to be paid before releasing his two daughters who were abducted after he was killed

umar-Kigbu was attacked at his residence in Azuba Bashayi, Lafia council in Nassarawa State

The deceased, aged 60, was a retired Air Force officer and a lecturer at the Department of Mass Communication, lsa Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic, Lafia (IMAP).

Police spokesman Ramhan Nansel confirmed the attack but said the Command was not aware of the N50 million ransom demand.
