Group commends Makinde Over Assets Declaration

A non governmental organization, Agenda for Development and Social Consciousness has commended the bold step taken by the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde on assets declaration.

The group described the faithful step as a sign of good omen for the people of Oyo State and a new beginning for the nation’s democracy.

This was contained in a statement issued and signed by the President of the group, Pastor Seyi Ojelade adding that such steps deserve commendation and not criticism from any quarters.

The group noted that with the development in Oyo State there is hope for good governance in Nigeria and such is an evidence of sincere heart that is ready to serve the masses.

The statement further applauded the governor for fulfilling his electioneering campaigns promises to the people of Oyo State thereby calling on the masses to support the governor in the quest to bring good governance to the state.

The group however called on other elected public officials to emulate Governor Makinde’ s gesture and other appointed officials of the state to follow suit.

The group prayed for more wisdom to govern the state successfully.
