Very creative and brilliant, Ehimigbai Idowu Junior, popularly known as Chelsea Pastor, has shared his experience working with various entertainment labels and artistes both in the Nigeria and foreign industry.
Ehimigbai, born out of tenancity and love for Arts and the Entertainment industry, has worked and built a detailed career and impressive reputation in the entertainment industry.
Chelsea Pastor, who is currently working with Don Crucifixto Entertainment as Casting Director, while speaking with press men recently, shared his experience working since different talents since 2009.
“I have worked with 2moch Rekordz, Savage Music Inc. I have acquired a lot of experience working with different talents since 2009 when I first joined the now defunct 2moch Rekordz.”
Meanwhile, speaking on his working relationship with Sean Dampte, a Nigerian born UK based Afro Pop singer, whom he had started working with since 2009, he said: “It’s been beautiful experience working as manager and creative director to Sean Dampte. The number of years we have been together says all about our relationship. So I will say it’s all bed of roses working as his manager. Every challenges that we encounter are easily solved because of the passion to succeed”.
“This year is a very successful one for us. SEAN DAMPTE has made eight trips to Nigeria. That’s because of the many recording and videos that’s we had to do. We have since released ‘10 Yards’ video in which Don Crucifixto was featured. Woman Weed or Wine video was recently released and both videos are also receiving massive airplay through the country. An EP titled ‘Essence’ by Don Crucifixto and Sean Dampte was recently released.
Producing these songs and shooting four videos both for Sean Dampte and our newly signed young talents within a space of four months wasn’t easy. Especially when you consider the fact that DAMPTE is based in the UK while his brother Don Crucifixto live in the US. A lot of planning and logistics are involved in making possible and that’s is why they got me here to make it things all the planning easy for our label.
Besides, being a creative talent that he is, Chelsea Pastor, as he is fondly called made his acting debut on Transit – a psychological thriller to be released in 2022. The movie is produced by Tumi Oluyole and directed by Robert Peters.
With the many roles he doubles, many believe he doesn’t have time to himself and family, but many don’t know that Ehimigbai J. Idowu enjoys to make handmade cards, drawing, painting, watching football and listening to music at his leisure time and also have time with the family.
