Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has appointed Samuel Badekale and Haroun Adebakin, the best graduating students of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) with a perfect 5.0 CGPA, as Education Ambassadors of the state.

In recognition of their academic excellence, the governor also awarded each of them N10 million, describing the gesture as a motivation for other students to strive for excellence.

Speaking at a reception held in their honor at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, Governor Abiodun reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to celebrating outstanding achievements in education. He emphasized the role of education in poverty eradication and national development, while commending the students’ parents for instilling strong values in them.

The governor assured continued support for the awardees’ career growth and tasked them with mentoring younger students.
