Governor Abiodun Oyebanji of Ekiti state has forwarded the names of commissioner nominees to the Ekiti state House of Assembly
Abiodun was sworn in as Governor of Ekiti state in October 16 2022 sumbited the lists which include some commisssioners that served under Governor Kayode Fayemi to the Assembly on Monday
The Speaker, Mr Adeoye Aribasoye, read the letter to members during plenary on Tuesday.
Names of the nominees includes the former Head of Service, Mrs Peju Babafemi, Former Commissioner for Information, Mr Taiwo Olatunbosun, a former Deputy Speaker, Mr Dapo Karounwi, and a former Ado Local Government Chairman, Mrs Tosin Aluko.
Others are former Commissioner for Agriculture, Mr Folorunso Olabode and immediate past Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Prof . Rasaki Bakare.
