Scores of of Golfers from local and international gold club on Friday evening arrived Ogbomoso for the maiden edition of Oba Afolabi Olaoye Golf Tournament.
The tournament which is part of the activities for the coronation ceremony commences on saturday with arrival of golfers and eminent personalities at the Ogbomoso Recreation Club, venue of the gold tournament.
Members of Golf club from Ilorin, Ibadan. Tiger Golf, Micom Golf course, Ada, Ikeja Golf club,Ekiti Golf club, Lakue gold club, Tiger golf club, Mina Golf club, Kaduna and Abeokuta Golf club
Also a former Minister Police Affairs Dr Jeleel Adesiyan, Professor Dibu Ojerinde, Professor Kayode Ogunleye, and others arrived the venue for the Gala night on Friday while more dignitaries and professional golfers are expected on Saturday for the tee off
The captain Ogbomoso Golf club Chief Pekun Olaleye while welcoming their visitors said the Ogbomoso Recreation club is pleased to have them around for the Maiden Edition of Oba Ghandi Golf Tournament adding that everything have been put in place to make their stay memorable.
He added that Oba Ghandi will perform the tee off at the gold course on Saturday
16 additional members joined the golf club while an award was presented to the Captain Ogbomoso Golf Club by Mrs Sade Ajala former lady captain of Tiger Golf club.
