Three African star players will this weekend delight viewers across the world with the story of their adventure in the Cricket world on CNN African Voices Playmakers sponsored by digital services company, Globacom .
The guests include South African National Women’s Cricket Team Captain, Eric Dusingizimana; Rwandan National Cricket Team’s former Captain, Suné Luus and Craig Ervine, Zimbabwean National Cricket Team Captain.
Dusingizimana was born in 1987. In 2016, he ran a charity race where he set a Guinness World Record in cricket. He is renown for his 2016 marathon batting effort where he batted for 51 hours non-stop in order to set a Guinness World Record. On the other hand, 27 years old Luus is an integral member of the South African national cricket team. He plays as a leg spin bowling all-rounder.
An international cricketer, Ervin is the captain of Zimbabwe in limited overs matches.The 35 years old batter is a veteran, having played Test and limited overs cricket for the Zimbabwe national cricket team over the years. He has also participated in Logan Cup where he played first-class cricket for a variety of Zimbabwean sides.
