A giant elephant was on Monday sighted roaming the forest in a boundary community between Oke Ogun in Oyo State and Kwara state
It was sighted by farmers in Gobo who are clearing land in preparation for the next planting season.
Gobo also shares boundary with Benin Republic.
Villagers said they have been seeing the animal around in the last 3 months
A farmer Adesope Habeeb Olamide told National Insight that the elephant is likely to from Benin Republic or a neighbouring country.
