In celebration of the forthcoming Eid al-Adha festival, Alhaji Saheed Omogbolahan Adigun, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of GASTAB, has once again demonstrated his deep commitment to philanthropy by distributing Sallah gifts worth several millions of naira to various groups across Ibadan.
Fondly known as Oba Mobil, the Zonal Chairman of the Petroleum Tanker Drivers (PTD) generously donated hundreds of cows, rams, bags of rice, and cash to clerics, community elders, families of deceased friends, the less privileged, and other residents in need. The gesture, widely applauded by recipients, highlights his consistent dedication to uplifting his community and honoring local traditions.
“This is not a one-time act,” said one of the beneficiaries. “Oba Mobil has made it a tradition to give back, especially during festive periods. His generosity touches countless lives.”
Alhaji Adigun’s benevolence has further solidified his standing as both a respected business leader and a compassionate community figure across Oyo State and beyond.
Adding to the week’s highlights, GASTAB officially unveiled a new filling station in Dugbe, Ibadan. The grand opening ceremony attracted a distinguished crowd, including traditional rulers, religious leaders, business executives, and community influencers. The event served as a platform to commend Adigun—also known as “Omo Kofosi”—for his continuous contributions to grassroots development and economic empowerment.
Speakers at the event praised his vision, calling him a unifier, development advocate, and exemplary leader whose investments are transforming lives and strengthening local infrastructure.
Through consistent philanthropy and strategic business ventures, Alhaji Saheed Omogbolahan Adigun continues to set the pace for inclusive growth, responsible leadership, and community impact in Nigeria’s private sector.
