Funeral events for Rev. Fr. Anthony Akiwowo will commence on Saturday, April 5, 2025, as part of a multi-day tribute organized by CAMPAN/CAEAN Ibadan Archdiocese.

The week-long programme will see a series of services and commemorative events, calling on all members and their communities to join in honoring the late priest’s legacy.

The proceedings begin on Saturday morning with a visitation to the family at the Jakata Akala Express Way meeting point at Richbam Filling Station, Kuola, starting at 9am. This will provide a time for relatives, friends, and community members to pay their respects in a personal setting.

On Sunday, April 6, a candlelight procession will be held at 5pm. The procession will begin at the Airport Junction and proceed to the parish, with participants requested to adhere to a dress code of black and bring a candle stick to commemorate the late reverend.
