Renowned humanitarian health journalist and broadcaster, Faysol Ajibade Dawud Oluwakemi, popularly know as Faysol Oluwakemi Dokitomoye, has officially launched the Faysol Oluwakemi Grassroots Development (FOGDEV) Initiative, a movement dedicated to fostering inclusive development and empowering communities at the grassroots level.
With a strong focus on health, education, and community welfare, the FOGDEV Initiative aims to bridge gaps in governance, amplify the voices of marginalized groups, and drive sustainable development through active civic engagement.
Speaking on the initiative, Faysol Oluwakemi emphasized the need for a people-centered approach to development, stating, “True progress begins at the grassroots. If we empower communities with the right tools, knowledge, and opportunities, we can create lasting impact and drive meaningful change.”
The initiative will roll out various community-driven programs, including health outreach, capacity building for youths, skills acquisition workshops, SDGs awareness for grassroots, educational support schemes, and policy advocacy efforts.
As Dokitomoye continues to champion development-focused conversations both on air and off air, the FOGDEV Initiative is set to become a transformative force in advancing grassroots inclusion and sustainable development in Oyo State and beyond.
