Students in tertiary institutions in Nigeria has been urged to be partners in progress of their various institute, governments and society at large.

President elects of Federation of Oyo State Student Union, National Council ,(FOSSU)Azees Sharafudeen Akano popularly knows as PA biafra gave this urge in an interaction with journalists in Ibadan recently
 According to him, we as students have a role to play in the development of our society through meaningful innovations and contributions to its growth
“As students and youth we must not allow emotions to betray our sense of responsibilities not only to effect changes but also to be a model to the coming generations
While urging the government to always be alive to their responsibilities, the incoming president maintained that, ” Our government should be also be alive to their responsibilities in funding and providing basic needs for the institutions
” Students will always react if the government is lagging in its responsibilities to create a conducive environment for learning for them and it is on this note that I want to urge our governor in the state not to relent in his effort in promoting and developing education in the state.
He however promise to run an all inclusive government that will bring everybody under one umbrella for positive development.
The inauguration of the new administration will come up on 15th March 2017 at the house of chiefs. Oyo state secretarial ibadan
