The Forum of Ogbomoso Media Practitioners has described the demise of Barrister Abraham Bolaji Ojo as shocking and unfortunate.

Ojo, a legal practitioner and Information Officer who retired from Ministry of Information, Oyo state also served as Chief Press Secretary to the Late former Governor of Oyo state Otunba Adebayo Alao Akala.

The Forum in a statement signed by the Secretary Mr Benjamin Orji said AB Ojo’s untimely exit is a great loss to ogbomoso community.

“During his lifetime, the Ogbomoso born legal luminary was one of the strong pillar of support for media practitioners in Ogbomoso as he always preaches professionalism and ensure that journalists are treated fairly in any event he was involved in”

Barrister AB Ojo is friendly accomodating and always willing to offer a helping hand, he will be greatly missed.

The forum commiserate with the entire family and friends especially the Ogbomoso Recreation Club and Ogbomoso First Community Initiatives O’first among others.

A Day of Tribute and Commendation service will hold at Nigerian Union of Journalist NUJ Press Centre Iyaganku Ibadan on 11th January as his remains will be laid to rest on the 13th of January 2024
