First NLC Chairman in Oyo State ,Comrade Isiaka Ibrahim Dies at 83

The death has occured of a Veteran labour leader,the first Chairman of the Oyo State Chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) , Comrade Isiaka Ibrahim.

According to a release issued and signed by the Chairman of the Oyo State Veteran Labour Organisation,Comrade Ibrahim Bolomope,commiserate with the entire great icon family on the demise of Comrade Isiaka Ibrahim describing him as “an unquantifiable leader”which death occured on Thursday, September 15th,2022 and has since been buried according muslim rite with JANAZAH prayer held at the UCH Central Mosque, Ibadan with interment at Panseke Cemetery,Tipper Garage,Ibadan on ,Friday,16th September,2022.

According to the release by the Association, they pray for Almighty Allah to give the family,the NLC and AUPCTRE in the state and the country and colleagues fortitude to bear the great loss.

They posited that Comrade Ibrahim left at the time they need his experience mostly to address some labour unrest in the Country.
