One of the house  beloging to  Ramoni Opeyemi a.k.a. Alubarika, one of the clerics caught with human parts in Ibadan  was razed by fire on monday evening.

The house located at Alapata area, Akufo road Apete was gutted by the mysterious  fire around 7:30 pm.

Traffic in Apete prevented easy movement for the fire fighters from accessing the place on time

Newsbearer reports that the fire incident was reportedly noticed by residents at about 7:30pm, but no one was found near it, except a gathering of people who also noticed it and stood to watch it from a distance.

“A male resident in the community, who craved anonymity, told Thenewsbearer that he was in his house when he and neighbours heard a loud noise.

He said: “It was already dark at that time. As we came out to know what was happening, we saw Alubarika’s residence burning.

“At first, we all ran away from the sound coming from the raging fire.

“When it was something we couldn’t handle, we had to call the police at Apete Division to notify them of the development.”

By the time Thenewsbearer got to the scene at almost 9pm, the fire, still razing the building, had reduced in its intensity because of the rain that had started falling.
