The semi final of the Nigeria Top 8 Female Invitational Squash Tournament proved to be worth the display as Busayo Olatunji (1) played against Delight Allison (5) in a match of total dominance by the number 1 ranked player.

Busayo started strong winning (11-5), (11-2), (11-2), cruising to a straight 3-0 finish to book her in the final of the Invitation Tournament.

The second semi final match was looking like a hurdle on paper for the energetic Abdulazeez Rofiat (2) as she took her racket on against Blessing Isaac (3) who is known for her powerful serve. But it was the equally impressive back hand serve of Abdulazeez Rofiat that won the day.

Blessing Isaac awed the spectators when she won the second set after losing the first set to slow Rofiat Abdulazeez down but it wasn’t enough as Abdulazeez came back with to win two more set to round the game of four sets winning (11-7), (9-11), (11-4), (11-3) capping it at 3-1 and setting up a show down against Busayo Olatunji.
