Ekiti state government has directed all the Executive Secretaries appointed by Ayo Fayose’s government after July 21 election to revert to their former position

According to press statement signed by Yinka Oyebode, chief press secretary to the governor, some major decisions regarding appointments into the Public Service were taken during the state exco meeting today.

The decision includes

1)    All Executive Secretaries appointed after the July 21, governorship election in the State are to revert to their former positions.

2)    All other appointments to the Public Service that did not go through due process, involving biometrics would be reviewed by an EXCO Committee headed by the Deputy Governor, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi.

 

3)    The committee is also to determine available vacancies within the public service which will lead to the commencement of fresh recruitment process.

4)    Other members of the committee are the Acting Head of Service, the SSG, Commissioner for Finance and the Chief of Staff
