Any attempt to keep quiet about the evil pervading our state in a time like this portends a serious danger and the dimension of ‘ you can do your worst’ by the so called constituted authority is worrisome, the present Oyo state government has decided to cowtow the definition of Oyo state to Ibadan and Ibadan alone, with the mind of if possible destroy other part of the state and legacy there be a ting if the past please who will explain the following to me this executive governance rascality of the present day government.
1. Suffocating of LAUTECH with funds to commence ‘Technical University’ in Ibadan what is the meaning of technical and technological can somebody lend this present government brain in order to understand the baseline between technology and technicality of a University, hence this is being situated at Ibadan where we have the premier University ..University of Ibadan, Lead University,Kola Daisi University and Polytechnics only to muzzle the livelihood of economy of Ogbomoso if need be leading LAUTECH to comatose and continue to boost Ibadan economy.
While I am not a political jingoist or a person of nepostic persuations the truth must be told that this development is ill conceived, ill timed and have some frivolous ideology behind the development yet assistance of the central bank that should have gone to Lautech was diverted to this I’ll conceived egoistic agenda.
2. I was passing through Oyo the other time only to see the legacy of Akala’ s government in ruins the building at the state hospital what a shame for a government that is not up to task? Is governance not continuity yet we are spearheading other phantom and elephant project in Ibadan as if other part of the state can go and die..of a truth the grip of wickedness of this present leadership of this state ‘ koseleri’ of a truth.
Where are our honourables, where are the senators of these States, where are the kings ,why should an indidual hold all of us to ransom.
3. This week there was a flag off of 70 billion naira worth road in Ibadan,a circular road project for Ibadan and Lautech needs just few billions teachers arrears and local government workers are owned ,and the attitude of the government is ‘ I can do whatever I like’ no wonder politicians keep deceiving us that democracy is th best because it is only in democracy that few charlattans cancintinue to rile us and we must not talk even if we have better ideas,it is only in democracy of Nigeria that the whole assembly can be gaggled and be sitting like puppets without checking the excesses of the sole admistrator called governor. N70 billion worth of road being flagged off when salary of 9 months was not paid in LAUTECH teaching hospitals receiving half salariy, civil servant are being paid anyhow only for them to see their salary as a good gesture,it is Chinese. God Almighty can see all this injustice it will not be for long.
4. Ibadan free trade zone is another project of this government in Ibadan and the government would like to sell Ogbomoso market built by another past government, do we have leaders in this city? What are the Ogbomoso people, Oke Ogun people and Oyo people are doing in this government? Silence in the days of evil is evil, posterity will not forgive those of you in government now you will soon leave the place what legacy will you leave for the state? Is only Ibadan Oyo State?
5. Commission of enquiry about the chieftaincy matters in Ibadan I don’t know what concerns Oyo state about the chieftaincy issue of one of the towns in Oyo state when there is no crisis or chieftaincy imbroglio ,is the state a local government in focus?
Please what is happening to Ibadan
Oyo state? There is dire need of redefinition of focus and semantics in the place of governance, why is it that this government bent on destroying the legacy of others to build heaps of rubbish,we need solemn assembly in this state those that are in government should be told men will not remember you for what you by what you leave for them but by what you leave in them.
I am not a politician and I am not envious of their position of no impact but I have a moral burden to speak about injustice and selfish pursuits of leaders in my community, just like Martin Luther a reverend that cried about the evil of their days so also as a man of God I believe the Lord will deliver us from this evil time.
Finally, the MOU Oyo state government signed about independent electricity supply with a Chinese based company concerning solar and renewable energy is it not about Ibadan? Several road projects are based at Ibadan, the central bank intervention projects for some secondary schools all based at Ibadan
