The historical city of Ogbomoso is in joyous mood in celebration of the newly installed Soun of Ogbomoso Oba Afolabi Ghandi Olaoye make a public appearance.
Oba Olaoye who was installed on the 8th of September was in seclusion for seven days.
As early as 8 am the palace was filled to the brim awaiting the arrival of the king and his chiefs.
He arrives Ogbomoso High school at about 10 am where was recieved by eminent personalities and thounsands of Ogbomoso indigenes
The monarch move from Takie to the palace with thousands of people following the convoy and chanting Kabiesi
Tradition drummers and hunters were part of convoy that led the monarch to the palace
At the palace ace Gospel Musician Laolu Gbenjo and Bro Gbile Akanni Minister during the short service after which a special prayer session was held for the progress of the town and successful and peaceful reign of Oba Ghandi
Bro Gbile Akanni in his sermon said the enthronement of Oba Ghandi will make a watershed in the history of Ogbomoso because he was destined for the throne and to make impact and lead the people aright.
In an interview with Journalists, Dr Saka Balogun said the monarch is opened to advise and reconciliation with other contestants.
He said, the first thing he needs to do basically to promote unity which he said will pave way for development
The Aare Ago of Ogbomoso Chief Samuel Otolorin explained that no rituals was involved during the seven days in seclusion
“He was in his house for seven days even we chief have to observe it whenever a new chief is installed because he need to be tutoured about so many things pertaining to the throne .
Traditional chiefs and monarchs from Ogbomoso and others were in attendance.
