The former military governor of Oyo State, Brigadier General Adetunji Idowu Olurin dead

Olurin who also served as civilian administrator in Ekiti state died at the age of 78

The septuagenarian who hails from Ilaro on Ogun State died at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH).

Details about his death were still sketchy at the time of filing this report but a family source who dont want his name in print confirmed the incident.

Olurin, a former governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in Ogun State, attended the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna, 1967-70; School of Infantry, Quetta, Pakistan,1973; Army Command and Staff College, Jaji, 1977-78.
