Former Speaker of Osun state House of Assembly Hon Adejare Bello has attributed his resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party PDP to recent developments in the party which he said are inimical to the intention of the founding fathers.
Bello a former chairman of the party and deputy governorship candidate in 2014 elections in his resignation letter which he tender today thanked the party for the oppurtunity given to him to serve
The letter was routed through to the state chairman reads , “The recent event especially within the Osun state chapter of the party to my which to my mind are inimical, contrary and a total shift from intendment of the founding fathers of the party which was built on justice, fairness and service has caused me to reconsider my membership of the party of which i hereby resign.”
” It is my sincere belief that some certain elements have hijacked the rudder of the ship of the party and change its course towards an unknown part of which i am not ready to take.”
The Ede born politician who also aspire to be governor under the party platform was among the aspirants that resigned their intention during the party primary in Osogbo
