Ex Iseyin LG Boss Alaran Urges Customs to Improve Modes of Operations

A former chairman of Iseyin in Iseyin council area of Oyo State, Mr Saheed Adejare-Alaran, has on Monday admonished the officials of Nigeria customs Service (NCS) on improved operation devoid of clashes and loss of lives.

The All Progressives Congress (APC), chieftain, who spoke in a telephone interview with Journalists in Iseyin said he loss of lives is needles and shouldn’t be ,all the customs needs to do is to improve their operations at the various borders and stop harassing our people who are mostly innocent.

“They should make use of modern technology in their operations and engagement with anyone who they suspect instead of gun duels approach.

“I want to use this medium to say that I fell the pains of the people who have lost their loves once to this act, may God give you the fortitude to bear the loss, ” he said.

it would be recalled that ,clash between officials of the NCS and alleged smugglers over the weekend left four persons dead.
