It was a moment of joy and excitement in Ibiade community, Ogun Waterside Local Government, as Engr. Biola Adeniyi on Tuesday launches his support group tagged the “Diamond Support Foundation (DSF).
DSF, a non governmental organization aims at enliven people and support the less privileged in the society.
Engr. Adeniyi, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress APC in Ibiade local government area of Ogun state
“I’m here to empower my people, to assist the community and help facilitate development into my hometown.
” My community is a good one where we all live in love, I believe in their support and with them we would actualize our plans.
” We are here to support the youths, the widows, the old ones, the less privileged, we will help sort their health issues. We will create employment opportunities and assist the needy in the society.
Eng Adeniyi who disclosed that his plans is to continuously engage strategic stakeholders including the traditional ruler, village heads, and opinion leaders and others on to move the community maintained that the scope of the foundation cut across Ijebu North, Ijebu East, Ogun Waterside and the entire Ogun State.
He however advised the youth to make use of their position as a vital agent in ensuring possibilities and changes in the community and the entire country. .
The traditional ruler and Alariga of Ibiade land, Oba Bola Rahmon commended Engineer Adeniyi for deeming it fit to give back to his community.
“We need more of you, we are happy you’ve come in to support us and empower our people. The waterside community needs you and this is a round peg in the round hole.”
Speaking to Newsmen shortly after the flag off, a close ally, Hon. Ademola Oyepeju Ara appreciate the people of ibiade community for giving Engr. Biola a warm welcome.
“We appreciate the support from our people here, it’s a great privilege for him to come back to his people and thinking of doing something good for them.
“He has been empowering people in the past through this platform and he had deemed it for to bring the foundation to his people and bring glad tidings, he had many plans. I wish him best of luck. His people embraced him for his antecedents and this can make people have the motive to support him.
Speaking on the coming election, He advised the youth populace to see politics as a system of electing new leaders and not a do or die affairs. “Let’s run a free and fair election and all angle should be all to task. We should shun hooliganism too.” He added.
Engr. Biola Adeniyi and his entourage in the two phase visitation paid a courtesy visit to the All Progressive Congress (Congress) Ward 3, Ogun Waterside Local Government to identify with the party structure.
The Party Chairperson, All Progressive Congress, Ogun Waterside local government, Ward 4, Mrs. Ismail Kudirat Olaore in her comment extolled the virtues of the party describing it as a victorious party that had presented successful representatives doing well in their respective offices.
Speaking on Engr. Biola Adeniyi personality, she maintained that he is one of the proud son of the soil who everyone is happy to align with.
“We have lots of sons we are proud of in our community. We have children who aspires for political ambition in Ogun Waterside.
“He’s a good son to us. His lineage has always been of good conduct. We are happy to have him. We appreciate the empowerment and we wish our children will make good use of it.
