Ekiti State Government has created an alternative road at Erio-Ekiti to reduce the hardship being experienced by motorists, commuters and other road users in the area.
The Commissioner for Works and Transportation, Hon. Adebayo Adesola, who made this known to Journalists in Ado-Ekiti, said an alternative route would be used pending the time the Federal Government reconstructs the damaged bridge.
According to the Works Commissioner, the alternative route created from Ado-Ekiti axis turns to the right hand behind the NMPC Petrol Station at the outskirts of Erio-Ekiti while from Efon Alaaye the route is on the left, close to the point of the failed bridge
