The Chairman and CEO of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi has extends warm Eid-el-Kabir greetings to the Muslim Ummah, Nigerians, and particularly the residents of Oyo State.
This auspicious occasion is a time for celebration, reflection, and a deepening of faith as we honor the significant act of devotion demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim (AS).
Eid-el-Kabir, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, is a reminder of the virtues of obedience, sacrifice, and unwavering faith in Allah. As stated in the Holy Quran, “Their meat will not reach Allah, nor will their blood, but what reaches Him is piety from you” (Quran 22:37). This verse underscores the essence of the festival, highlighting that the true spirit of Eid lies in our sincerity and devotion.
Chief Sanusi emphasized the importance of unity, compassion, and generosity during this festive period. “Eid-el-Kabir is not only a time to rejoice but also an opportunity to extend kindness and support to those in need. As we celebrate, let us remember to share our blessings with the less fortunate, fostering a community of care and solidarity,” he said.
He further reflected on the current state of the nation, urging citizens to remain hopeful and steadfast in their prayers for peace, prosperity, and progress. “Nigeria is a nation blessed with diversity and resilience. It is through our collective efforts and faith that we can overcome challenges and build a brighter future for all,” he added.
Chief Sanusi also lauded the efforts of the Oyo State government and various community leaders in ensuring a peaceful and joyous celebration across the state. He called upon all residents to adhere to safety protocols and exhibit respect and tolerance towards one another during the festivities.
In his message, he cited another verse from the Holy Quran, “So pray to your Lord and sacrifice [to Him alone]” (Quran 108:2), encouraging Muslims to maintain their devotion and continue to offer prayers for the nation.
The statement, issued by Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi’s media team and personally signed by him, concluded with a prayer for Allah’s blessings on all families, wishing everyone a happy and fulfilling Eid-el-Kabir.
“May this Eid bring joy, peace, and prosperity to our lives and may we continue to live in harmony and mutual respect,” he said.
