DSS Releases 8 Igboho’s Associates, 25 Days After Court Order

Department of State Services DSS has released eight out of the detained 12 associates of the Yoruba nation advocate, Sunday Adeyemo (Igboho).

Justice Obiora Egwuatu of the Federal High Court, Abuja last  Monday signed their Release Order.two weeks after he ordered their release from DSS Detention

It would be recalled that the court order the relase of the  people  on August 5 after the tweleve  of them were  presented at the court

Barrister Pelumi Olajengbesi who head the legal team handling  their case told journalist that the eight were reelased this afternoon and thay they are working to ensure the release od others by Tuesday

He also stated that the DSS must account for the two associates of Igboho killed during the bloody raid of July 1, 2021

Those released are: Abideen Shittu, Abdullateef Onaolapo, Ayobami Donald, Olakunle Oluwapelumi, Dikeola Ademola, Bamidele Sunday, Raji Kazeem, and Taiwo Tajudeen.

Those still in DSS custody are Tajudeen Irinloye, Uthman Adelabu, Amudat Babatunde, and Jamiu Oyetunji
