There was a mild drama at the Oyo state House of Assembly plenary on tuesday as lawmakers raise an eyebrow over the dressings of Hon Olusegun Olaleye. popularly known as Radical
Hon Olaleye had put on a face cap with PDP inscription on it.
While calling the attention of the members to Hon Olaleye’s informal dressing ,Hon Olusegun Ajanaku representing Ibadan South West 1 raised a motion that Hon Olaleye be properly dressed or leave the chamber because they are not comfortable with it
” He noted that the House rules says that any member should properly dressed while at the chamber.
Hon Solomon Akande representing Ogbomoso South Local government in his submission said ” Hon Oleleye’s dressing is a deliberate attempt to distract the house .
Attempt by Hon Olaleye to defend himself was subdued with arguments from members who contributed to the motion and he removed the face cap and replace it with a traditional cap.
The Speaker Hon Olagunju Ojo however submitted that any lawmaker that did not dress well at the plenary will be sent out of the chamber
