Engineer Jubril Dotun Sanusi, Chairman Ilaji Hotel and Sports resort has been awarded the Oyo State Tourism Man of the year award by Governor Seyi Makinde.
Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland is a multifaceted international businessman with interest in Oil and Gas, hospitalism, media, sports, Travel and Tours agency, education and others.
He was honoured at the dinner and award ceremony by Oyo State Governor for stakeholders in tourism at the ongoing Internation tourism Summit organizes by oyo state government held at the International Conference Centre University of Ibadan.
Jubril Dotun Sanusi founded Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort a few years ago with a view to reshaping hospitality industry in Oyo state and at the same time boost the economic landscape of the state.
Since establishment, Ilaji Hotel and Sport Resort has hosted both local and international tournaments in all categories of sports and conferences, seminars which has placed Oyo State in the global map.
Other awardees at the event includes Erelu Funmi Rotiba, Chief Executive Officer Special Tours Ltd, Evangelist Ajibola Ogunkeyede CEO Ufit fly, Dr Abebayo Faleke, a prominent radio presenter and researcher, Taiwo and Kehinde Oguntoye among others.
Governor Makinde while congratulating Jubril Dotun Sanusi and others, charged them to see the honour as a call for more work in making oyo state a prefered tourism destination.
