The Senator, who has been given second term mandate and currently representing Oyo North Senatorial District under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Senator Buhari Abdulfatai has declared that he does not have any account with the name Senator Buhari Abdulfatia or Senator Abdulfatai Buhari on facebook.

The declaration was contained in a Press Release issued and made available to Journalists today.

According to Senator Buhari, he has been receiving series of phone calls and text messages from people particularly from Oyo North Senatorial District where in one Dr. Maxwell was allegedly demanding for money in exchange of either employments or contracts from Federal government.

The Senator warned that nobody should engage on any discussion or dole out any money to the fraudster as he hinted that efforts is on to get him apprehended for the illicitly notorious act.

While reiterating that he does not have any link with a facebook account named Senator Abdulfatai Buhari, Senator Buhari stressed that Nigerians should be vigilant so that they would not be duped by men of underworld.

Quoting the phone number the fraudster was using to make the fraudulent attempts none of which was successful, Senator Buhari advised that Nigerians should neither pick nor call 08145906358 in their own interest.

He declared that the APC led governments at all levels are committed to good governance while added that employments and contracts were not and would not be given on facebook.

“I therefore enjoin my people to join hands together with law enforcement agencies in bringing the perpetrator of the illicit act to book,” Senator Buhari emphasized.
