A Socio-cultural group in Ibarapaland, Lanlate Development Congress (LDC) has urged Oyo State Security Network Codenamed Amotekun to ensure that combing of forests in Ibarapa area by their operatives is not a one off affair

This is necessary because of the sufferings the seven towns have gone through in the hands of the criminal elements.

They also commended Governor Seyi Makinde for mobilizing Amotekun officers in getting rid of all kidnappers den in the Ibarapa zone of the state.

The group in a statement signed by the group spokesperson, Jacobson Adeniji and made available to newsmen in Ibadan said the efforts of Amotekun in fishing out criminals and kidnappers in the area is commendable

LDC however pledged its unflinching support to the security apparatus especially Amotekun on the need for permanent way forward to security challenges ravaging the area
