Minister of communications, Adebayo shittu today in Iseyin said people should stop comparing him with the former minister of state for FCT Oloye Jumoke Akinjide who is currently facing trial over allegation of corruption.

Shittu while speaking at the Oke Ogun youth summit in Iseyin said “some people are comparing me with Akinjide, I can’t be spending like her because I don’t get money the way she got it when she was a minister in the past administration you all know how the past government squandered government resources.

“You can see what Akinjide is passing through now, I don’t want to end mine like that too, I won’t steal any money to satisfy people’s yearning but I will continue to try my best to serve humanity”

Barrister Shittu also debunked the insinuation that he is not helping, saying “those who called me a stingy man missed it, I am not stingy, I am doing my best and I will not steal to please people”
