Discover Ekiti to Host Hike Ekiti Mountain Safari 7.0 at Efon Alaaye

Adventure seekers and nature lovers are set for a thrilling experience as the Discover Ekiti Tourism Club, in collaboration with the Ekiti State Bureau of Tourism Development, announces the 7th edition of its annual hiking event – Hike Ekiti Mountain Safari 7.0.

Scheduled to hold on Easter Monday, April 21, 2025, the event will take participants to the breathtaking heights of Mount of Clouds in Efon Alaaye, Ekiti State, South West Nigeria. Themed “Let’s Storm the Mount of Clouds”, this edition promises an exciting mix of hiking and outdoor dining, tagged “Hike & Dine in the Clouds.”

According to the  team lead for the group Mr  Perculiar Ekiran, Transportation for participants will begin at 6:00 am from Fajuyi Pavilion, Ado Ekiti, with the actual hiking set to commence at 7:00 am in Efon Alaaye.

He added that tickets and further details are available at www.hikeekitimountainsafari.com

Amb Wale Ojo Lanre, The Director General Ekiti Bureau of Tourism in his remark said this initiative is part of ongoing efforts to promote eco-tourism and showcase the natural beauty of Ekiti’s mountainous landscape.

Recall that last year over a  thousand hikers joined the state Governor  Biodun Oyebanji and other dignitaries to hike and explore Abanijorin mountain in Ado Ekiti
