Mogaji Joseph Tegbe, a chieftain of People’s Democratic Party PDP in Oyo state has expressed sadness over the demise of Barrister Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu, Chairman All Progressives Congress (APC) Oyo state
In a condolence message personally signed by him, the PDP senatorial candidate in the last election said;
“I am shocked by the untimely death of the Chairman of the All Progressive Congress in Oyo state, Chief Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu, which occured at a time Oyo state is still recovering from the loss of Prince Musiliu Akinremi, also of the opposition APC.”
“Chief Omodewu was a dedicated party leader who was unwaivering in his efforts to unite and swell the ranks of the opposition APC. He did all within his powers till the frailty of human nature and mortality permitted him no more.”
“Since we met during the administration of Late Abiola Ajimobi, I have known him as a decent individual who served the state passionately as commissioner across various ministries. Despite our recent political differences, he remained a cordial associate until his sad demise.”
“The death of Chief Omodewu reminds us of our mortality, and reiterates the ephemeral nature of human lives, and need to be upright and compassionate as we all have a date with death.
“it is my prayer that Almighty God grant him eternal rest and comfort those he left behind, especially is aged mum, his wife and children, his close relatives the Otu community and the All Progressive Congress in Oyo state.”
