The leadership of the Child Protection Network CPN called for coordinated actions by the State Executive Council and Security Agencies in Oyo State to ensure that the abducted Deputy Coordinator and the Executive Director of Hope for Second Chance (HOSEC) Foundation Mrs. Ibukunoluwa Otesile regain freedom
Mrs. Ibukunoluwa Otesile was kidnapped at about 8.00pm on Thursday, December 4th 2025 in front of her residence at the General Gas Area of Akobo, Ibadan, Oyo State.
In a letter by the Network addressed to the Oyo State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Inclusion and signed by Dr. Rosemary Odigbo, the State Coordinator said “We are deeply worried by this sad incidence and write to seek your office’s coordinated support for prompt action by the Ministry in collaboration with the State Executive Council and appropriate security agencies”, Dr. Odigbo charged.
“It also suffices to say that an incidence of this nature happening in the heart of town leaves very bad taste in the mouth. For us, an injury to one is an injury to all.”
Otesile is a dynamic cognitive behavioural therapist with years of experience providing psychological services that enhances mental wellbeing. At HOSEC Foundation, she works with her team to offers support for errant young adults through rehabilitation and reintegration.
Prayer sessions are being held in various quarters for her safe return to her family and loved ones.
