COVID-19: Oyo Discharges 26 Patients, Confirms Two New Cases in 3 Days

Oyo State government have discharged Twenty-six (26) coronavirus patients after receiving their second Negative test results, bringing the total number of discharged cases in the State to 2102.

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde made this known in the daily COVID-19 report for Wednesday, 16th of September, 2020, he shared on his official Twitter page adding that Two people have been tested positive of the virus.

The two new Coronavirus patients each from Lagelu local government (1) and Ibadan North West Local Government (1) made the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State – 3223.

Makinde further call on anyone who have any COVID-19 symptoms: cough, fever, tiredness, body ache, loss of smell/taste and shortness of breath to call the Emergency Operations or visit any of the COVID-19 testing centres.

The rate of Coronavirus in Oyo state has however tends to be going down the slope as Oyo record just two cases in three days.

Recall that the Government earlier approved that Tertiary institutions can resume as from the 28th of September.
