COVID-19: FG Begins Condtional Cash Transfer to Nigerians

Federal Government  has commenced cash transfer to poorest households in the country to cushion effect of the coronavirus pandemic.

The minister of humanitarian affairs,  disaster management and social development, Sadiya Faround  disclosed  this during a press briefing by the presidential task force on the disease in Abuja, on Monday.

Farouk said the ministry has commenced advance payment of conditional cash transfer to the poorest households in the country.

She said the vulnerable group will also be expanded to consider more persons during the infection period.

“In Mr. President’s speech, paragraph 54, he directed that the conditional cash transfer should be given in advance of two months. This we have also done. We have directed immediate cash transfer to the poorest and most vulnerable households in the country,” she said.

“Because of this COVID-19, the vulnerable groups have to expanded, because we are aware that there are people who live on daily wage, so we are also going to look at those groups of people to see how we can get this food relief intervention to them in this period.”

The minister said the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has deployed trucks of relief materials to states affected by the coronavirus pandemic

    Please ma I am a young man wet two children a boy and a girl am from rivers state in P H I have lost my mother and father even my elderly brother die on the electric poll he was working for NEPA which is p h c n in prot Harcourt zone and since then ma we hardly feed ones a day because I lost my job since 2013 I am an electrical engen so ma naw because of this coivd-19 my baby mama took one the child the girl and Left me and the boy he is 14yers old and the girl is 9yers old please please ma help us please and god well blessing well be upon u and family see my facebook name is aZunda obilor anything well be okay for us I was living happily ma thank may god blss u / account number access bank 0802075909
