COVID 19, Eng.Open Salawu Donates Cash, Food Items to Support Ogbomoso Residents

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Oyo state  Engr. Mufutau Open Salawu, has donated the sum of N3,000,000 to cushion the economic effect of stay at home advise by the government to prevent further spread of COVID 19.


The sum, according to the former special adviser to former governor Abiola Ajimobi, covers 100 Bags of rice, 100 bags of Semovita, 100 cartons of noodles and some cash.

The Ogbomoso born civil Engineer and international business man made this known in a statement

According to him, “All over the world, governments are urging people to stay at home and many more borders might be closed and interstate movements may be restricted. The implications of these measures are enormous but it’s the only way to stop the spread of this virus so in view of that I am giving N3,000,000 to my community to buy foods and share to the vulnerable.

“I hope more people will follow suit and assist the needy in this very difficult time knowing fully well most Nigerians live on their daily earnings
