Hon Ajao Adejumo, a federal lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North ,South and Federal Constituency at the lower chamber of the National Assembly has distributed relief materials worth millions of Naira to people in Ogbomoso
The materials includes food items, cash hand sanitizer, Gloves Nose masks ans others were given to hospitals, Market women and residents of ogbomoso and its environs
He said the distribution is In response to the urgent need to curb the spreading of the deadly Pandemic, Coronavirus
While speaking on the need for Orientation; Hon Ajao made it known that people need necessary information on the said Disease and how to Curb the Spreading. Hon.Captain Ajao furthered by explaining the need for the Sanitizer by saying, it will help in preventing further spread of the disease.
The Chief of Staff to the lawmaker Mr Abiola Oyadiran who led the team while speaking with journalist said the lawmakers has been contributing immensely to the growth of his consrituency.
“Before now, the lawmaker has facilitated construction of blocks of classrooms in some public schools, he has empowered Over 1000 women aged people, distributes tons of fertilizers to farmers, facilitates 500kva Transformer”
Oyadiran added that ” The peoples lawmaker has also been able to secure federal appointment for some members of the constituents, support community based projects particularly in grading of roads and others
While assuring delivering of more dividends of democracy through captain Ajao, Oyadiran said ” In less than a year my principal have been able to achieve that i can assure you that more will be done for people, he believes politics is about people and the people at the grassroot must enjoy dividend of democracy
