Corona Virus: Okere of Saki Distributes Food Items,Cash to Prevent Hunger

  Oba Khalid Olabisi, the Okere of Saki has distributed of food items worth over N5m to residents of saki and its environs

This is part of his effort to reduce the economic impact of stay at home advice by the government in order to prevent spread of Corona Virus

About 100 bags of rice have so far been distributed by the monarch and more are still coming says a source at the palace

Apart from the food item which worth over N5million Naira the monarch has also been given giving financial support to people

Oba Olabisi has also embarked on sensitization and enlightenment of the public on the need to maintain personal hygiene and distribution of hand sanitizers and nose cover

The monarch who is complimenting the effort of both state and Federal government said he didn’t want to lose any of his subject to the viral disease

“ As a traditional ruler, our role is to watch over our subject, protect them and ensure development, mine will not be exceptional  and I will continue to support my people  and ensure the growth of the community”

The monarch  also called on well-meaning individual  to support people with their resources  at this trying period  so as to avoid seeing people dying of hunger and starvation.
