Governor Seyi Makinde will on 15th December commission the newly licensed Radio station of the Polytechnic Ibadan and 72 rooms office complex on Friday 15th, December 2023.
The Offie complex is one of the projects built from the institution’s internally Generated revenue.
Briefing Journalists on the activities lined up for the combined convocation ceremony, the planning committee chairman Dr Mojeed Lawal said both Jumat and church services have been held on Friday December 8 and Sunday Dec 10 respectively
He added that Major General Adebayo Olaniyi Rtd will deliver the graduation lecture entitled “Leadership Evolution, Empowering Change Agent for a Transformative Future” at North Campus Assembly hall on Wednesday December 13.
“On the 14t of December,2023 as part of the activities lined up, a group of alumni of the institution specifically 90/93 se have volunteered to plant trees accross the lenghth and breadth of the institution. This will further enhance the beautification of the institution.
The convocation will witness the award of Diplomas, certificate and prizes to the 2018/2019, 2019/2020 2020/2021, 2022/2023.
Apart from Dr Lawal,other members of he planning committee are , Dr Abiodun Adegbuyi.Secretary of the Committee, Chief Librarian Representing the Polytechnic Librarian, Mr Kayode Joseph, Mr Adewumi Ogunjimi Deputy Registrar Exams and Record Dr Bolanle Oseni Chairman committee of Deans and Dean faculty of science and Alhaji Soladoye Adewole the institution’s Public Relations Officer
