A construction company, Messers Time Building & Construction is to refund a sum of #47, 807, 873. 80 for allegedly abandoning the rehabilitation of Ilupeju-Ire road project which was awarded to it in 2016.

The Commissioner for Information and Values Orientation, Aare ‘Muyiwa Olumilua who disclosed this  while briefing Journalists on the outcome of the Ekiti State Executive Council meeting in his office in Ado Ekiti said the contract has been terminated

He said the State Government has approved the rehabilitation of Ilupeju-Ire-Igbemo-Ijan roads, to the tune of over two billion naira, and to be completed within one year

The Government also awarded the re-construction of Agbado-Ode-Isinbode-Omuo road, to gulp over three billion naira and to be completed within eighteen months, adding that the rehabilitation of theAramoko-Erinjiyan-Ikogosi road has been reviewed upward from over #1.167billion to over #1.625billion.

Olomilua said further that the executive Council has also considered the recommendations of the whitepaper on the reports of the Honourable Justice Babajide Aladejana Chieftaincy Review Commission 2019.
