Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff Ibrahim Lt General Ibrahim Attahiru has died in a plane crash in Kaduna state.
The Military plane was carrying the Chief of Army Staff and other top military personnel, with reports suggesting there was no survivor in the crash.
Ibrahim Attahiru, chief of army staff, who was one of the victims, was said to be on his way to Kaduna to attend a passing-out parade for army recruits scheduled for Saturday
A statement by Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, Director of Public Relations and Information of the Nigerian Army has revealed that the immediate cause of the crash is still being ascertained.
