CDCFIB Warns Applicants Against Fake Messages, Urges Strict Compliance with Recruitment Guidelines

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has cautioned applicants in its ongoing recruitment exercise to beware of fake emails and text messages purportedly sent by the Board.

In a statement released on Friday, the Board clarified that it will not send emails or SMS notifications to applicants, urging candidates to visit the official recruitment portal at https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng/ to check their status.

According to the statement, once shortlisted, candidates are required to log into the portal, update their profiles, and print their examination slips directly from the website.

  • Report any discrepancies immediately via the CDCFIB Support Portal.
  • Ensure that all details on the printed slip correspond with their registration information.
  • Dress appropriately and maintain orderly conduct throughout the exercise.

The Board emphasized that it does not issue offline printouts, warning that any document not generated or printed directly from the official portal will be deemed invalid.

It also cautioned candidates against sharing or publishing their invitation printouts online, stressing that such documents are non-transferable and violators will face strict penalties.

The CDCFIB reaffirmed its commitment to a transparent and credible recruitment process.
