Canadian-based Gospel Musician, Evangelist Esther Ojooba has been listed among the eminent personalities that will be honoured with the startrend Gold Award of Excellence.
The award is an acknowledgement and appreciation of her contributions to the socio-economic development of Nigeria and youth empowerment.
The event which is being organized to mark the 10th Anniversary of Startrend International Magazine will hold on 28 of November 2021 at Excellence Hotel, Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos.
According to the chief organiser and the Publisher/Editor-Chief, Startrend International, Abusatar Idowu Hamed, “
the event will kick start by 2pm with Red carpet and the speakers at the event are Oloye Lekan Alabi, Ekefa Olubadan of Ibadanland and Dr Reuben Abati of Arise News.
The renowned gospel musician Esther is the originator of gospel explosion, an annual program started about eight years ago with a specific focus on prophetic praise.
Esther Ojooba hails from a royal family in Ipole-Iloro Ekiti. Her grandfather was the first Olupole of Ipole Iloro Ekiti.
She attended CAC primary school, Ogotun, Ekiti and proceeded Ori oke Community High School, in Ogbomoso, Evangelist Ojooba also study Music at Peter King College, Lagos before finally settling in Canada to continue her musical career.
She has received several awards in the course of her career. Some of her laurels include an Award of commendation from M.P Sonia Sidhu, Canada, Certificate of recognition from His Worship Patrick Brown, Mayor of Brampton.
Ojooba next award will be presented to her at the 10th Anniversary of Startrend International Magazine coming 28th of November, 2021 award was presented to her by Star Trend Intl
