The Old Boys Association of Christ Apostolic Grammar School Aperin Oniyere, Ibadan has donated a total of 500 pairs of students furniture to the school as part of 2021 national project.
The official commissioning and handling over of the furniture was performed at the assembly ground in the school premises on Tuesday 27th July 2021.
The national president of the association and one time commissioner in Oyo State Dr. Morounkola Thomas in his speech gave kudos to Oyo State government for their laudable program on renovation of schools, provision of textbooks / exercise books and conduct of extra lesson which had yielded positive result. He said the old student of the school will not relent in supporting government efforts in lifting education to higher level.
While performing the official commissioning on behalf of the State government, the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Education, Science and Technology Alhaja Aminat Atere who was accompanied by the management team lauded the old boys of the school for the sense of belonging and their efforts in giving back to their alma mater. She re-assured government commitment in partnering with all stakeholders, organisations and individual in uplifting the standard of education in the state.
The PS encouraged the beneficiaries to emulate the old students kind guesture and make good use of the furniture.
