The oldest man to become a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) Professor Ajagbe Toriola Oyewo has died at the age of 91.
He died on tuesday at the University College Hospital Ibadan
Prof. Oyewo, a lecturer at Lead City University was among the 72 legal practitioners elevated to the rank of SAN in October 2021.
At 90 years, the Erunmu-born Professor of Law who was also a traditional Chief in Ibadan, is regarded as the oldest lawyer to be awarded SAN.
Prof Ajagbe Toriola Oyewo, asides being a legal practitioner, was an expert in local government law and administration, a distinguished scholar, a teacher of teachers, and a socialite.
