Kaduna State High Court has freed the embattled leader of the outlawed slamic Movement of Nigeria, Sheik Ibraheem El-Zakyzaky and his wife, Zeenah.
The islamic schorlar and preacher and his wive have been in detention since December 2015 and standing trial in the court for the past four years.
Justice Gideon Kudara, in a ruling upheld the no case submission filed by his counsel, Femi Falana, SAN arguing that the witnesses presented by the prosecution counsel were unable to establish any offence against Sheik El-Zakyzaky.
