Black Thursday in Kogi as Armed Robber Raid Police Station, Bank

It was a black thursday in Isanlu Yagba  in Kogi East local government as armed robber unleashed terror on security agency and members of the public

Many people were feared killed while First Bank, the only bank in  the community was robbed

A resident of the community told our reporter that the robbers first stormed the police station where they killed 8 police officer and the DPO before proceeding to the first Bank

The operation lasted more than two hours

The State Police Public Relation Officer , DSP William Ayah, when contacted, said the Kogi State Commissioner of Police , CP Ayuba Ede, had deployed Anti-Robbery Squad in Isanlu.

He said the the Deputy Commissioner Police in charge of Operations had also been deployed to the community .

He said investigation into the incident had commenced
